ü Baking soda can be skipped as you would be using corn flour. Add it for extra crispiness.
Ingredients
Banana – 2 ripe -(big ones) Sliced length wise (see the picture)
Gram flour – ½ cup
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
Baking soda – a pinch
Powdered Sugar – To taste
Salt – a pinch
Water
Oil for deep frying.
Method
In a bowl add gram flour, corn flour, cumin seeds, baking soda, sugar, salt and some water.Make it into a thick batter. Add banana slices. Give it a mix so that the banana slices get coated well. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the banana slices. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
My Notes
ü Adjust the sugar according to the desired sweetness.
